NASA is set to launch the Kepler space telescope tonight. Its mission is to answer a question. Not the Geo Quiz question -- but another question that's long puzzled astronomers.

Is Earth the only habitable planet in our galaxy? Are there other planets like ours out there in the Milky Way? The Kepler space telescope, centerpiece of the Kepler MISSION, may help answer that question.

That's the hope. Now here's the quiz. Who was Kepler? And where was he born? Kepler's said to have been introduced to the ideas of Copernicus during college and he delighted in them.
