Now on to the west coast of Ireland for today's Geo Quiz. We're looking for an area in Ireland's County Galway. It's known for its panoramic views of the Atlantic and of the Twelve Bens mountains.

Wait there's more! Bogs, rocky moorland, and parties ... parties called ceilis.

Bridgit Fitzgerald grew up in this rugged coastal area. From her home, she says there was something to explore in every direction:

"So I could down half a mile down the road and we're at the strand or the beach or go the other direction behind the house and your up in the bog where we used to cut peat for the fire, if you go west along the road, you'll end up in Clifden, and to left is Galway City, 15 miles away."
