Saxophone player and keyboardist Tim Ries has been touring with the Rolling Stones for almost a decade.
Along the way, he started thinking about new ways to play Rolling Stones' numbers.
So he wrote his own arrangements of some of their songs -- jazz arrangements
The result was a CD called "The Rolling Stones Project" featuring vocalists such as Nora Jones and Sheryl Crow.
Now Ries has put together another set of Rolling Stones songs -- this time with a world music slant.
His new album, "Stones World" is a collaboration with performers such as Eddie Palmieri from Puerto Rico, Badal Roy from India and Milton Nascimento from Brazil.
And a couple of other guys... Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood.
Tim Ries traveled the world to record his new album.
He started in Portugal with Fado singer Ana Moura.
