One of Scotland's wildest and remotest islands is on our Geo Quiz radar today.

The island of Jura in the Inner Hebrides has a new ferry service. It's the first direct link to the mainland in more than 30 years. The last ferry sailed away from Jura in the early 1970's.

The islanders cannot have imagined then that there would not be another one until after the turn of the century. Until recently a 3 hour journey via the neighboring island of Islay was the only way to get to this location off the west coast of Scotland
