Australian artist Shaun Tan chose to tell an immigrant's story without words. He drew bizarre-looking worlds--old ones full of menace and a new one tinged with hope. His is the familiar tale of a migrant bidding farewell to the old country and landing in the new one. But Tan makes the story fresh in his new graphic novel. It's called 'The Arrival', and it's just been published in the United States.
