So we're searching for where the largest such polar bear swim takes place.
It's a chilly Canadian bay that looks out onto the Strait of Georgia...and beyond that the Pacific.
Freighter ships head this way to off load cargoes bound for Canada.
Water temperatures down around 40 degrees....are no problem for the thousands who join in :
