For today's Geo Quiz...we're looking for a city full of die-hard "football" fans. The fans we're looking for root for the Persepolis Football Club. The sport in question -- though -- is soccer.
Persepolis plays in the Azadi Stadium -- which seats nearly 100,000.
The team is named after an ancient Persian capital. The players wear bright red jerseys -- so their nickname is the Red Army.
Their current coach draws on skills he learned during coaching stints with the US National Team and the Los Angeles Galaxy.
And even though he's a long way from LA, the coach says he feels at home now:
“When I came to this country the reception I received in the airport, the reception I received in the streets, the love I feel from my countrymen, it's very heartfelt.â€
So where's home for the Persepolis Football Club and its coach?
You gotta think fast -- because the ref's about to blow the whistle for the answer...
