We start today's Geo Quiz with one word -- peninsula. There are three major peninsulas in southern Europe. Boot shaped Italy sticks out into the Mediterranean. The land mass that extends from Bulgaria down to Greece is the Balkan Peninsula.
And -- there's one more.
The Iberian Peninsula... home to Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar. Now...zoom in closer. We're looking for one of Spain's autonomous communities. This region is in the country's northwest corner. Its Atlantic coastline is marked by rocky fjords.
