Turkey recalled its ambassador to the U.S., following the symbolic vote by a Congressional Committee to label the killings of Armenians by Ottoman Turks during World War I genocide. Ankara has threatened to restrict US access to Turkish military bases that are crucial to US operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
