Senior Program Producer
Andrew Sussman is in charge of the overall shape and sound of The World. Each morning he works with the producers and reporters to identify the day's top stories. Throughout the day he oversees the progress of the program, and works closely with the director to assure the quality and accuracy of the day's broadcast.
Sussman, a 2001 Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, has been with the show since its inception in 1995. Previous to that, he was based in Moscow and Paris as an editor and reporter - which would explain an admitted weakness for French rock and roll.
