Time to answer our Geo Quiz. We wanted to know which direction do you sail through the Panama Canal?
The Isthmus of Panama generally lies along an east/west axis. But ships passing through the canal from the Pacific Ocean headed for the Atlantic Ocean (Caribbean Sea) go in a northwest direction. Ships travelling from the Atlantic to the Pacific head southeast!
