Listener Susan Kirsch from Chandler, Arizona suggested we check a band from Spain called "Relk." The band is from Catalunya, the region that includes Barcelona. Relk's most recent CD is called "Pedres Blaves".

Ken Doctor told us about an artist he saw perform at the Montreal Jazz Festival. The singer is Paul Kunigis, and he's been dubbed "the most popular Polish singer in Quebec." Kunigis was born in Poland, raised in Israel, and is now based in Quebec. He sings in Polish, Hebrew, English, and Yiddish.

Finally, Kevin Hilbiber in Seattle says he loves the band "the Electric Gauchos." The band has released one CD, called "Blue Orb." It was recorded in both the US and Argentina.
