We're taking the long road for today's Geo Quiz.

We're on the ancient "Via Francigena". That's the road that Christian pilgrims would travel as early as the 3rd century. You can still trace its ancient path from England, through France and Switzerland, and ending in Italy.

All these centuries later, the road isn't used as much. It's mostly footpaths and narrow trails. But there's talk in Italy of restoring the ancient road.

Italian prime minister Romano Prodi supports the idea. What we want to find out is the name of the two cities at either end of the Via Francigena. One is in England. It's home to the spiritual leader of the Anglican Church. The other city is in Italy and, well, you probably guessed it already.

So where does the Via Francigena start and where does it end?
