More rain is in the forecast for today's Geo Quiz .
We're looking for the name of a river that runs through southern England today. It's a major waterway, more than 200 miles long. It rises near the town of Cirencester in the Cotswolds.
It eventually goes right through central London, passes Greenwich and the Isle of Dogs, and flows past Gravesend before reaching its estuary and the North Sea.
The river is in the news because of major flooding in parts of England. Meteorologists say the past 3 months have been the wettest for England and Wales since records began, back in the 1700s.
Thousands have been forced to evacuate. But some are staying put in spite of the danger. The owner of one local pub posted a sign that read: "Open for business - come hell or high water."
You don't need to get wet. Just name England's main river...
