For today's Geo Quiz, we're looking for a triangle.
We're looking for the name of a geographic region that's shaped like a triangle. Think of the Hawaiian islands as the triangle's northern corner. New Zealand and Easter Island form the other two corners.
Inside this triangle are thousands of islands, scattered throughout the Pacific Ocean. There's tiny Pitcairn Island, first settled by Bounty mutineers;
New Zealand's North Island, with its majestic volcanos;
And the island nation of Tuvalu with its much coveted internet domain "dot-T-V". Over 40 languages are spoken by the people from this region. That includes Tahitian, Samoan, Tongan, Maori and Hawaiian, to name just a few.
The answer's coming up wiki wiki, that's Hawaiian slang for "real quick."
