The city we have in mind where siestas are the fashion is Seville, Spain.
Manuel Otero is president of Seville's hotel association.
Otero: "Siesta is part of the culture I am sure it is very healthy if you can rest after lunch."
Otero recently came up with the idea of offering a "siesta special".
Otero: "We offer a hotel room we have an agreement with the restaurant association in the city and if you have a lunch in the restaurant, they can offer reserve a room in one hotel for one special price."
And there are options. Otero says customers can simply relax in a comfy chair.
Otero: "If you want a siesta its not necessary to have a bed and wear pajamas, its only if you see the news in the television in a comfortable chair and you have 20 minutes rest you know."
Otero calls the siesta a "period of refreshment for the mind" and many sleep experts agree. They say it can prevent you feeling groggy or bad-tempered for the rest of the day.
