Burmese protesters sentenced (4:00)

A Burmese court today handed down jail sentences to several activists involved in last year's pro-democracy protests. Fourteen of the protesters were sentenced to 65 years in prison. Others got sentences of 6 months to 24 years. Anchor Lisa Mullins finds out more from Tin Htar Swe, head of the BBC's Burmese Service.

November 11th 1918 marked the end of World War One. And today marks the end of a blog centered on the conflict. Englishman Bill Lamin has been posting his grandfather Harry's letters from the war -- 90 years to the day after they were written. The World's Clark Boyd reports.

40 years ago, a U.S. military plane carrying nuclear weapons crashed in Greenland. A BBC investigation has found that one of the nukes was unaccounted for after the crash. The BBC's Security Correspondent Gordon Corera has details.
