Today Prime Minister Gordon Brown urged Britons to waste less food. Anchor Lisa Mullins speaks with Paul Roberts, author of "The End of Food," on how the food we waste contributes to higher food costs around the globe.

But the US government says Iran is also trying to increase its influence in Afghanistan, and supplying weapons to the Taliban.
