South Korea restricts US beef imports (3:25)

It's only been one week since South Korea lifted a five year long ban on American beef, but Seoul is already calling for imports to be restricted again. Protesters have put pressure on President Lee Myung Bak. They say he's exposing the nation to mad cow disease by allowing the import of US beef. Correspondent Jason Strother has the story.

Zimbabwe's top opposition figure is detained by police. A leading Zimbabwean human rights lawyer tells anchor Lisa Mullins that scores of ordinary citizens are being arrested and beaten every day, as part of a government crackdown.

Anchor Lisa Mullins has an update on the effects of rising oil prices are being felt around the globe. Today fishermen clashed with police in Brussels, and in India there were lines at gas stations as people lined up to fill their tanks in advance of a ten percent rise in prices set to take effect at midnight.
