The Six Day War had a profound impact on Palestinians. Anchor Lisa Mullins speaks with two prominent Palestinians about how their lives were affected. 40 years ago, Palestinian politician Mustafa Barghouti was 13 and lived in the Jordanian-controlled West Bank. Journalist Abdel Bari Atwan was 17 and lived in the Gaza Strip, which at the time was under Egyptian control.

The BBC's Alistair Leithead reports from Afghanistan on an increase in Taliban attacks in recent weeks. There's been a rise in bombings in previously peaceful parts of the country. Some of them may be a Taliban reaction to the killing of their commander Mullah Dadullah recently. US and NATO commanders had hailed his killing as a victory.

The World's Jason Margolis has the latest on the G8 Summit in Germany. Leaders of the G8 nations agreed to a compromise deal on tackling climate change but no mandatory target was set for reducing greenhouse emissions.
