Today fighting resumed in Lebanon. Government troops fired artillery shells into the Nahr el bared refugee camp in an effort to dislodge Islamic militants hiding there. The Red Cross is helping civilian casualties as anchor Marco Werman learns from Jorge Raich, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Lebanon.

The World's Alex Gallafent has the latest on kidnapped BBC Gaza correspondent Alan Johnston. Johnston has been missing since March. A video of Johnston has been released on the Internet. Johnston is seen and heard talking about his captivity and the suffering of the Palestinian people.

An American citizen is in quarantine in Atlanta after flying to Europe and returning to the US after being diagnosed with a drug resistant strain of the disease.
