Ivory Coast report (3:00)

The illegal disposal of toxic waste in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, resulted in eight deaths and made thousands of people sick. The ship that carried the waste has been detained. The World's Marco Werman reports that investigators are still trying to determine who is liable: a Dutch waste company, the Greek company that owned the tanker or the Ivorian company that unloaded the waste.

The sharing of information on airline passengers between the United States and Europe has been a fact of life since 9/11. The goal being to combat terrorism. Today the US and the European Union agreed to extend their data-sharing agreement until next summer. The World's Gerry Hadden reports that some in Europe worry about where the information is going.

Host Lisa Mullins speaks with playwright and author Eve Ensler. Ensler is an outspoken activist for women who have been abused. In her new book, "Insecure at Last," she shares stories of how women are fighting for security in an insecure world. Lisa also speaks with Eve's friend and fellow advocate, Rada Boric. Boric is co-founder of the Center for Women War Victims in Croatia.

Host Lisa Mullins speaks with the BBC's Jim Muir in Iraq about US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's visit to northern Iraq today. Rice was there to convince Kurdish leaders not to turn their back on a unified Iraq.
