Gaza tunnel report (4:30) October 31, 2006permalink
The World's Aaron Schacter reports from the Egypt/Gaza border about the ongoing problem with tunnels. Contraband and weapons continue to be smuggled through the tunnels, and Israel is considering further military operations to stop it.
The new French film "O Jerusalem" dramatizes the partition of Palestine, and the birth of Israel. Since its Paris premiere, "O Jerusalem" has drawn fire from both Jewish and Muslim critics. The World's Gerry Hadden reports.
A married couple from Alaska ran afoul of Malaysia's increasingly powerful religious police this month. The police burst in on their room and demanded to see the couple's marriage license. The police have been targeting unmarried couples for having unlawful sexual relations. Correspondent Jonathan Kent reports.
