The World's Athena Desai has an update on reports today that the FBI disrupted an alleged terrorist plan to blow up New York tunnels. Lebanese officials reportedly say they've detained a Lebanese man in Beirut who allegedly confessed to plotting to bomb New York targets. US authorities say the alleged plot was in the early stages.

The World's Matthew Bell reports on the commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks in London's transit system.

Three of the four British men who carried out last year's London bombings were of Pakistani descent. At least two spent time in Pakistan. France faces Italy in the Soccer World Cup final on Sunday. The World's Alex Gallafent reports on Zinedine Zidane, the captain of the French national soccer team. He's considered one of the best soccer players ever. He's also widely admired in France as a rallying point for people of all ethnic backgrounds.

Italy could take its fourth Soccer World Cup title, if it wins the final match against France on Sunday. Anchor Lisa Mullins goes to the North End, the heart of the Italian community in Boston, to have a chat and a cappuccino with an Italian fan at the Caffe Dello Sport.
