School Year: South African students join countrymen in volunteering to honor Mandela

Thursday was the 95th birthday of South Africa’s former president and anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela. Across the country, many chose to do 67 minutes of volunteering, to honor the man’s 67 years in prison or politics. Students at the Centre of Science and Technology joined in.
