Two friends made a pledge to wear saris more — now their pact is catching on
Two friends from India have pledged to give up wearing their western clothes twice a week and instead wear saris, the traditional dress. The pact between the two has caught on and now other young girls and women are wearing them. They’ve been posting photos of themselves on social media using the hashtag #100SAREEPACT.
