The World's Oceans

<p>Oceans cover 70% of the Earth's surface, and make up 99% of its biosphere. They play a major role in our weather and climate, and provide food, livelihood and leisure for millions of people. For all that, we know remarkably little about them, and treat them as a limitless resource, and a limitless dump. <em>PRI's The World</em> covers the depth and breadth of the world's oceans to help our audience better understand and appreciate our relationship to the Earth's defining feature.</p>
