'World Have Your Say' discusses the impact of migration on society, and the practicality and desirability of multiculturalism.

Listen NowListen Now

The British Council hosted an event called the Living Together Summit. It has a number of aims which include assessing the 'impact of migration on society, and the ability of minority communities to participate in public life'. "World Have Your Say" broadcasted live from the event at the Westminster conference center with a panel of delegates from the Summit, and asked callers and bloggers worldwide to share their views on multi-culturalism.

The delegates and program audience discuss their answers to these questions:

- Are multi-cultural societies inevitable?
- Do you welcome the increased levels of migration all around the world?
- Do you want multi-culturalism to work? And if so, how can you better involve minorities in your country?
- What’s the alternative?

Join the online discussion.

Produced by the BBC World Service, "World, Have Your Say" is a ground-breaking, live global interactive program that invites listeners and online users to share their views and questions on key issues with a worldwide audience. The program is distributed nationwide by PRI.
