Three rush-hour explosions have left over a dozen people dead and dozens more injured in Mumbai, India's financial capital. The Indian Home Minister says the blasts, within minutes of each other, were a coordinated attack by terrorists.

Vir Singh, a reporter in New Delhi says the government has appealed for people to stay calm and not take matters into their own hands. "They don't want people out in the streets, especially at a time when security officials are still out combing the city for possible unexploded bombs," Singh said.

So far no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

In 2008, militants killed 166 people at two luxury hotels, a train station and a Jewish center in Mumbai.
