As the internet becomes personalized, programs like Facebook, Google and Yahoo are filtering out information without your permission.

The internet is a great source of news, but as people spend more time on the internet, their experiences become more personalized. Facebook and Google tailor search results and web experiences to what individuals are likely to click on. In the process, people may be missing important information. Eli Pariser, the author of "The Filter Bubble," explores.
