An effort by Exxon shareholders to push sustainable measures is defeated -- 'The Takeaway' reports.
She tells John Hockenberry, "... you're asking an energy company, and they are calling themselves an energy company, 'how are you going to be profitable for your shareholders 20, 30, 40, 50 years from now ... these resolutions have been both proposed by, and then supported by some of the largest pension funds in the world ... representing billions of dollar's worth of shares."
