Republicans and companies have attacked the EPA's proposed new rules aimed at cutting air pollution, but the EPA's delay has raised concerns that the Obama administration could be putting politics above public health.

Proposed regulation to curb hazardous air emissions from industrial boilers has been in the works for years. The Obama administration has put the regulation on hold indefinitely. Green groups like the Sierra Club are disappointed in the Obama EPA.
