Scientists are testing a brain implant in rats that could help them recall memories again.

A new kind of neuroprosthesis is giving rats the gift of memory again. Scientists have figured out a way to restore memory function in rats that are no longer able to make new memories. Benedict Carey, science reporter for The New York Times, talks about the breakthrough.
