Editor's note: The contents of this article can no longer be presented as though they are factually correct. On March 16, an investigation by Marketplace and This American Life revealed that a number of Mike Daisey's allegations against Foxconn in China are not correct. This American Life retracted its episode that was centered on Daisey's monologue, though Daisey insists he stands by his theatre. He admits, however, that parts of his monologue are made up.

I am a Apple consumer and I so sorry to know my owning a product has brought harm to others. I assumed the companies that worked under Apple followed labor laws like our own in America. I don't understand why some poeoles lives are valued less than others and who gets to decide someone's life is an acceptable expensive of doing business?
