The White House has announced that it won't release the photos of Osama Bin Laden after he was killed. A photography professor examines why.

There is a global image war going, and the Obama Administration's decision not to release the photos of Osama Bin Laden is their attempt to control it. Fred Ritchin, professor of photography and imaging at New York University, believes that the photos could be used as fodder for terrorists. The photos could also be seen as gloating by the United States.
