President Obama is the first sitting President to take an official state visit to Puerto Rico in nearly 50 years. His focus, however, may be on Puerto Ricans living on the mainland.

More Puerto Ricans live on the mainland of the United States than live on the island of Puerto Rico. And many of those living in the Puerto Rican diaspora reside in the Presidential swing state of Florida. President Obama is likely courting them on his official state visit to Puerto Rico. Frances Robles, Caribbean correspondent for the Miami Herald, and Fernando Pizarro, Washington correspondent for Univision, talk about the visit.
