This month marks the third year since Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast and America's most vulnerable were left to fend for themselves.
Director and producer Carl Deal and Hurricane Katrina-survivor Scott Roberts share how video shot in the midst of the storm became the 2008 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Award-winning documentary, "Trouble the Water."
The documentary features home-shot footage of New Orelean's Lower Ninth Ward residents Kimberly and Scott Roberts.
Carl Deal is best known for his work producing Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 911" and "Bowling for Columbine."
"Trouble in the Water" is in theaters now.
