Steve Jobs biography released, on bookstore and iBook shelves (with video)
The 630-page book from Walter Isaacon looks at Jobs life in its entirety, but certainly focuses on Jobs role in founding and then restoring Apple.
The much-anticipated authorized Steve Jobs biography, written by Walter Isaacson, was released all across the globe today.
Early reviews from the New York Times and others seemed to paint a picture of a man looking to play a part in shaping his own legacy. The book details the differing approaches Jobs had to his cancer treatments, as well as his thoughts on competitors.
In the book, he is quoted as wanting to destory Android because he said they stole the design and function of Apple's iPhone and iOS.
The 630-page biography spans Jobs' life, and has been a best seller since Jobs' death earlier this month. The book was released at midnight Oct. 24 across the globe and was moving briskly off physical and virtualy bookshelves. The book is at the top of the Amazon Best Seller list.
