Donald Trump taking the oath of office

President Trump, how will you treat any of your associates, currently under federal investigation, shown to have improper ties to Russia?

On the eve of the inauguration, The New York Times reported that multiple federal agencies are investigating several associates of President Donald Trump for financial and communication ties to Russian officials. Among the Trump associates reported to be under the microscope are former campaign chair Paul Manafort.

The investigation is believed to be centered on business dealings current and former Trump associates had with Russian officials.

During the campaign and after, Trump has repeatedly rejected reports that Russia tried to influence the election or campaign. Now that Trump is president, he has some power to shape these ongoing investigations — and he'll certainly be in a position to take action when the investigations are concluded, if they're allowed to continue.

We're wondering what plans President Trump has for reacting to these investigations — and if he'll let them continue at all. If you wonder the same thing, tweet the president.

Over President Donald Trump's roughly first 100 days, we'll be asking him questions that our audience wants answers to. Join the project by tweeting this question to @realDonaldTrump with the hashtag #100Days100Qs. See all of our coverage at pri.org/100questions.
