Okay, we're having a little fun with the headline, but it does look like these Siberian Huskies are walking on water.

But, there's nothing mystical about these images except that the photographer, Fox Grom, was definitely out for a walk with his dogs at just the right time.

The photos, which surfaced on several recent Internet posts, were taken at a frozen lake near Kirovsk, a town of a little more than 28,000 people, in the north of Russia.

When I reached out, Grom told me it had been raining a little and it was slowly turn into the evening which as you can see, created brilliant lighting conditions.

Grom, who joined his three dogs — Shasta, Alaska and Blizzard — out on the frozen lake, says the ice was thick that day last November. Because it was raining, the dogs became interested in it.

"They are very inquisitive and like everything to investigate," Grom wrote me in a message.

From the look of these great shots, what dog wouldn't be interested in walking on water?
