Over just 3 days, a massive heat wave killed nearly 700 people in Pakistan

Nearly 700 people have died from a severe three-day heat wave in Pakistan, officials said Tuesday.

"The number of people who have died in the heat wave has now reached 692," said Saeed Mangnejo, a senior provincial health official, as temperatures in the port city of Karachi reached 111 degrees Fahrenheit over the weekend.
