More misery for US East Coast residents as another heavy snowstorm hits (PHOTOS)

Will this winter never end?
Another heavy snowstorm hit the US East Coast on Monday, bringing with it freezing temperatures and further misery to long-suffering residents in the region.
Thousands of flights at major airports in Washington DC, New York and Philadelphia were cancelled as the latest winter storm system dumped snow, ice and freezing rain across the country's east.

Federal government offices were shuttered in Washington, where as much as 10 inches of snow was expected to fall and clog up roads and highways.
Schools from Dallas to Philadelphia cancelled classes. States of emergency were declared in Delaware and Tennessee, CNN reported.
The fifth major storm since the start of 2014 could be followed by near-record low temperatures on Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.
The service expects temperatures of 20 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit below average from the Great Plains to the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes and into the Tennessee Valley.
"We're tired of it. We're sick of it," Martin Peace of Arlington, Virginia, told the Associated Press.
The latest storm swept from the Mississippi Valley to the Atlantic coast over the weekend, causing at least four traffic deaths in Texas, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
On the West Coast, a front is expected to move onshore over the Pacific Northwest on Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing with it rain and snow, the weather service said.
