Vieux Farka Touré

Every soccer World Cup has an official theme song.

The one for Brazil 2014 is being chosen through a contest: fans are invited to submit their song ideas and pop star Ricky Martin will record the winning selection.

Vieux Farka Touré of Mali helped with the music that accompanied the last World Cup — in South Africa in 2010.

He recently performed his song 'Ay Bakoy' in The World's studios. It's the final track off his latest album, 'Mon Pays' (My Country).
