Marco Werman talks to Eugene Fidell, a professor of military justice at Yale Law School, about the case of the US soldier accused of killing 16 civilians in Afghanistan on Sunday.

The soldier, who has not yet been named, allegedly broke into homes in the villages of Alkozai, Najeeban and an area known as “Ibrahim Khan Houses”.

Among the 16 dead were nine children.
