Mali Welcomes French Intervention

It’s the fourth day of French air strikes against Islamist militants in the West African nation of Mali.
The intervention has been welcomed by many Malians hoping for an end to Islamist control of Mali’s north.
Ousmane Diadie Toure is a film-maker in Mali’s capital, Bamako.
He’s a member of Defenders of the Republic, an activist movement led by artists and professionals.
