Palestinians Take Case for Statehood to the United Nations

The Takeaway

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is in New York this week, to attend the United Nations General Assembly with plans to apply for full membership of a Palestinian State. Philip Alston, professor of law at New York University, discusses the process of becoming a state and what barriers the Palestinians will face at the U.N.
