The BBC today launched BBC Arabic, a tv channel aiming to deliver unbiased news and info to Arab World TV viewers. It’s going head to head with Al Aribiya and Al Jazeera. One new viewer is an Iraqi who lives in Jordan and says it’s excellent and says he trusts BBC radio, that the BBC is always neutral and doesn’t use propaganda, they usually go for the news as it is. But critics disagree, some have already emailed the BBC complaining that the new channel is funded by the British government which is true. This Saudi Arabian man says he’s keeping an open man but expects the TV channel will be used by the British government to try to brainwash the Arab World.
