It’s part of a new series of discussions on pressing policy choices and scientific controversies presented by the Harvard School of Public Health in collaboration with WGBH and The World.

Hosted by The World’s environment editor Peter Thomson, the panel explored preparedness for responding to widespread outbreaks of novel flu viruses and other pandemic threats at the international, national and local levels.  The event was webcast live from 12:30-1:30pm ET Wednesday.
