Secret Court Hearing for Canadian al-Qaeda Suspect

Mohamed Harkat is accused by the Canadian government of being an al-Qaida operative.

He’s been under the eye of security services since 1995.

And in October, Canada’s Supreme Court will convene in an undisclosed location to review top-secret files about government informants involved in Harkat’s case.

Anchor Carol Hills speaks with Globe and Mail security correspondent Colin Freeze.
