Turkish Police Use Force to Control Protests

The protests at Taksim Square in Istanbul, Turkey have lasted nearly two weeks now.
And for police and the government there, it looks like they’ve reached the breaking point.
In a televised speech, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan defended police intervention and the use of tear gas and rubber bullets in the square on Tuesday.
